Soft and textural, our shaggy pile is silky soft to touch.
Shaggy
Our Shaggy Wool pile celebrates the wild charm of sheepskin and is deeply satisfying to touch. It is typically sourced from a sheep that is less than 12 months old. The wool most likely has not been shorn by the farmer and still has the original soft wool tip. Usually these skins are around 40mm in fibre length. This wool is reasonably uniform as it has not endured the harsh conditions of years out in the elements. With its soft texture and depth of colour, it provides contrast and interest to interiors while making surfaces more comfortable. Pile length is typically 40-50mm.

The pile length can vary between 60-80mm, depending on the natural growth of the fleece. Plush and silky to touch, these rugs are ideal for spaces needing texture, warmth, or an extra layer of interest.
