Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take responsibility for:
· Ecommerce Performance & Strategy: You will have accountability for ecommerce revenue and profit targets via data-driven strategy development, decision making and execution to achieve commercial goals
· Customer Experience: Ensuring technical excellence and a seamless user experience.
· Channel Management & Agency Orchestration: Take ownership of analytics and EDM strategy and execution whilst leading third party agencies in the delivery of paid media channels.
· Marketing Integration: Work in alignment with the brand marketing team to contribute to the marketing calendar and promotional activation planning
This role is for you if you have:
A proven track record growing the ecommerce business for a consumer brand on the Shopify platform.
Strong understanding of the full ecommerce tech stack: Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, SEO tools, and paid media platforms.
Hands-on experience managing digital agencies and vendor relationships.
Strengths in data analysis, technical problem solving, strategic thinking with attention to detail, the ability to bring projects to fruition on a timeline, and a good dose of adaptability.

Role: Full-time
Location: Wanaka, Central Otago – although remote work is available for the right person.
Reports to: CEO, with input from the Creative Director
Born in Wānaka, Wilson & Dorset has been designing beautiful sheepskin products for over a decade. With big growth aspirations, we're looking to bring our Book-keeping and Payroll function inhouse in a role that will be a key support pillar of the daily, weekly and monthly functioning of the Wilson & Dorset business.
Reporting to the Finance, People & Projects Lead, you will:
Take ownership of our Bookkeeping & Financial Administration:
- Working in Xero and Shopify you will own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Undertake regular reconciliation activity across various accounts and entities.
- Provide regular cashflow updates.
- Conduct end of month account activity, and liaise with Tax accountants in regard to the preparation of end of year accounts.
- Prepare NZ GST returns and liaise with the AU BAS agent on quarterly preparation for the AU GST return
- Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset register including running monthly depreciation.
Provide effective, accurate and timely payroll services using PayHero (NZ team) and Xero (AU team) systems, ensuring delivery is compliant with relevant legislation, policy and agreements.
Assist in the administration of and be a champion for the Health & Safety processes across the business.
Provide support to business leaders and the wider team as required.
This role is for you if you have:
Proven experience in a finance & administrative role, preferably within a small to medium-sized organisation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with financial data and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Proficient in the use of office software, including accounting (Xero) and payroll (PayHero) systems. Previous experience with Cin 7 and / or Shopify is a plus.
A can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck in and get the job done.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
