Meet Tiaan Whelpton – you might've spotted him smoldering in our latest campaign on socials, or maybe you caught him strutting past one of our stores.
Not gonna lie, some of those shots got us hot under the collar. Lucky for us, we were sitting on sheepskin at the shoot…
But Tiaan's not just a pretty face (though, let's be real, damn). This guy is fast. Like, New Zealand's-fastest-man fast. Affectionately known as our very own Speedy Boi, Tiaan clocked a blistering 10.10 seconds in the 100m – and he's not stopping there.
He's on a mission to become the first New Zealander ever to break the 10-second barrier, with his eyes locked on the 2028 Olympics.
So yeah, he's hot, he's wonderful, he's fast. And he's keeping cool on sheepskin – a Double Mt Gold sheepskin in the window seat of his room, to be exact.
The thinking behind the campaign:
Let's be honest – sheepskin in summer is a hard sell. Even though our sheepskin regulates your body temperature and keeps you cool no matter what the thermostat says, try convincing someone of that when it's 30 degrees outside (NOT looking at you, Aussies).
So we figured: if a hot guy lounging on sheepskin gets people thinking about it, mission accomplished. Enter Tiaan.
